Light-Up Displays offers high resolution 35mm slide imaging from almost any file type. We image 35mm slides at 4K resolution (4096x2730) using a precision calibrated Agfa film recorder.

DIGITAL CAMERA FILES
All digital camera files are adequate for digital slide imaging. Just send us or upload your files straight from your digital camera and we will produce vivid and smooth slides. We can also work with your files created in the photo imaging program of your preference. You can use any dpi in your files, however, for better quality slides we recomend files 1800x1200 pixels or larger. This is the equivalent to a 4x6 inches file at 300 dpi. Most digital cameras over 2 MegaPixels have adequate resolution to make great slides.

FILE TYPES
We can make slides from PPT (Power Point file), TIFF, JPG, GIF, PICT, PSD, BMP and other many formats. Contact us if you have any questions regarding your file types. We will automatically resample all your images to the maximum resolution when we make your slides.

BORDERS AND ROTATION
Most digital cameras have a different aspect ratio than a full frame slide. When you send us your slides unedited from your digital camera, the slide will have a small black border on the edges. You can use full frame by cropping your images in a photo editing program using a 2:3 aspect ratio.

We automatically rotate your images to fit the largest possible image on the slide.
